Thermal
Spraying
Thermal spraying is used to
produce coatings as protection against wear,
corrosion and high temperatures.
The process can be used for new
parts as well as for repair.

In the thermal spray coating process a coating is produced
by molten or softened particles which are applied by impact
onto a substrate.
A common feature of all spray coatings is their lamellar
grain structure resulting from rapid solidification of the
small particles which are flattened from striking a colder
surface at high velocities. It is this grain structure that
makes the protection.
CWMT is proud to work with Koy Coating AB, a company with
modern equipment, knowledge and lots of experience after nearly
40 years of advanced thermal spraying and other means of
coating. Koy coating is one of Northern Europe´s leading
companies in thermal spraying with customers all over the
world.
